blog days of spring

hellllloooooo everyone.

you are probably wondering what the heck happened to my blog. well, my computer assistance manager (mommers) went on hiatus. she does this now and again, the last time though she backpacked thru asia for a couple months, at least this time she stayed home, but dadders took the honors this time and went off to brazil for a couple of weeks. right before he left I was walking a few steps, when he got back, I was making my way from end to end of the condo over, and over and over and over, you get the idea.

I am one happy camper now that its getting warm outside, we are always heading out for walks and going to the park. The city makes for interesting walks, so many cars, trucks, trains, bridges, boats, a river, and of course, crazy people.

I am working on my words, but still prefer to just point and yell 'daaaaaaa' most of the time when I need something. The parents are declaring my first word to be belly button or 'bel but'. I am also pretty good at 'all done' and 'again', although they sound similar. But I usually just say 'again' when I am going down the slide, and 'all done' when eating. I am getting a little better at eating solids, you would think with all my chompers (12+) I would be going gangbusters, but what can I say, I still love my 'ba-ba's'

Mommers and I are going to try and get back on a weekly blog schedule, but I call on all the followers to give her grief if she lapses, I mean really, these are my great adventures being chronicled.

Bonus Post!

word on the street is april 2010 was the 2nd warmest on record, so that means the lake temperature should be warm earlier this year! Can't wait to try out my baby wakeboard :)

bad thing about summer, I will need a lot of sunscreen, see how pasty I am? I can blend in with the pier! the boat lift is in but going to wait a couple more weeks until we pop the boat in. my parents have become slightly less die hard.

the thing that throws me for a loop at the lake - grass. not much grass when your living in Chicago, and the patches you do see are basically reserved for dogs. so I am getting used to this new wonder.

ONE!!!!

Guess what! I'm ONE YEAR OLD!!!! On my actual birthday (15th), all my cousins sang happy birthday to me via skype! Then two days later, I became a jet setter yet again and celebrated with the cousins all in person in Greeley. I did become a little too interested in my candle and decided to touch it, that was a bad move.....here's the party picture before the candle incident...

Then I went jet setting again! Mommers & I met Dadders at the Denver airport and contiuned on our way to Bend, Oregan for a wedding and also to hang out with Grandma & Grandpa Kinninger. While I was there, I got to have another birthday party!!!

sicko & standing

Hellooooo all!!!! Well, have had a couple rough weeks, first got a stomach bug, (which I then gave to the parents) then got hit with bronciolities (which I also gave to the parents) and a double ear infection. I was not a happy camper. But the doctor got me fixed up, and am feeling good again, hopefully it will last for a while!

When I am not suffering from an ear infection, my sleeping and eating improves immensely. I am a huge fan of yogart and noodles, or whatever my parents have on their plates. I even like using the spoon myself, although mommers doesn't seem overly fond of cleaning yogart off the walls, oh well! I have also been 'ferberized', mommers started to crack up because apparently she didn't enjoy me getting up every couple of hours at night to say hello. Before I got sick, I was sleeping 8 hours :) We are back to 6 hours stretches now, but hey were working on it.

Here's me standing with no hands!!! I love to walk around the furniture and push my new firetruck, not walking outright yet, but seem to be close....

And here's me munching on my toes! They always seem quite tasty after a bath :)

hello all.

yes, I know, slacking on the blog again. mommers & I are putting up a bonus entry this week to make up for it. hope all had a good christmas! I had a great first christmas, my parents took me to colorado to hang out with the hughes clan. Then grammy kinninger came out to visit me for a few days! Here are some xmas shots, I really liked the wrapping paper.

Hello all, a quick story to share....I went to the doctor last week, and the doc said my parents might want to start 'discouraging the pacifier'. Well doc, you might take away my pacifier, but I found many other things to take its place. Like......
