Domer Jake

Hello all, I had quite an adventurous weekend, my parental units took me over to Notre Dame where the spring blue-gold game was on tap, plus the weather was awesome, 70 degrees! Here's me with the golden dome. Although both my parents, my uncle chris, and my grandpa bill are all alumni, they told me there's no pressure for me to go there too. (I wonder if that has something to do with the tuition costs?) My dadders likes to tell me that the world needs ditch diggers too.
Here's me continuing my little walk-about campus. This is one of the doors to the Basilica. Note the saying, God Country Notre Dame, since I am too little to understand these words, I prefer "Sleep, Eat, & Play"

Continuing the campus tour, here's us at the grotto, praying for all the students to study hard and pass there finals, and for the boat to start when we launch.

I made some new friends this weekend! My parents friends, Andrew & Lisa Mushett and their daughter Reagan came down from Minneapolis. In addition to them, our friend Jen, all made the trek over to South Bend. Here's me having a chat with Reagan, although she did most of the talking, and I most of the cooing.

I'm scheduled to take my first flight next sunday, am going to meet my fam in colorado! should make for an interesting adventure entry! Peace out, Baby Jake

Lake Jake

Hello all, I have now been formally introduced to the lakehouse, and I dig it! Now if the weather would warm up! I packed up my swimsuits, rash guards, shorts, and towels from chicago so I am ready to go when it gets warm enough. Hopefully some day I will be as crazy as the fellow we saw barefoot water skiing on the lake this weekend. Brrrr. On the bright side, my parents tell me that last year at this time the lake was still frozen, so at least the ice has broken this year :)

Here's me and mommers by the boat lift, the lift was just put in the water this week, quite unexpectedly as we hadn't called to book it! The barge guys started early this spring!

Here I am checking out the boat, we picked it up from the shop and it should be ready to roll for the summer. However the parents tell me we will still go to church and pray it starts when we actually launch it...

I know I am too little to ski or wakeboard, but how young is too young to start tubing? Just kidding grandma, I know I have some growing to do. Hey, you think I qualify as the spotter?
Ok this is embarrassing, someone please tell my parents I should not be swinging in a pink swing. Pink is ok from my cousin Tristan, but I am a little dude! not dudet!

War Paint

Hello all, the battle against baby acne rages on here in chicago. My counter attack is adorning my face with war paint aka eucherin. Pretty fierce eh?

My dad and I are great nap takers. In fact, I have taught him about the merits of sleeping in the touchdown position, its quite comfortable....

The weather in Chicago is not very good, it contiunes to be about 40 degrees, and we had a spring snowstorm last week which cancelled my great adventure to wisconsin, hopefully this weekend instead. Here's me prepring for an outside adventure, usually consists of me taking a ride in the sling to starbucks or the stroller to michigan ave.

My mom is quite a fan of the hooded towel, apparently adult towels don't have a hood, maybe thats a million dollar idea?Ahhhh sunbeam........
