a visit from holly & eric

Hola all,
What a weekend of firsts.  I slept 7.5 hours in a row, scared my mommers so much that she woke me up! I was on a 4-5 hour regiment, so quite an extension!

Holly and Eric were visiting the lake, unfortunately, the weather was not super cooperative, and instead of going boating we went to a local rec center to swim.  This turned out to be great fun for me, the center had a huge warm water therapy pool and I had my first official swim in a pool. However, dadders got yelled at when we left because apparently it wasn't 'family time', you think they might have mentioned that when he signed in, its not like I was smuggled in :) We did forget the camera though. Here are some pictures with Holly, Eric and my parents....

Here is my dadders and Eric out hunting for carp with a bow and arrow.  The carp managed to evade them.....this time.

Check me out, I think I should give baby bjorn a call, I think I could be their centerfold.
Here's the whole crowd....note my dadders somewhat strained smile, the camera was precariously perched on the boatlift and could have easily taken a tumble into the lake.

Until my next adventure.... baby jake

Hello to all of the followers of the great adventures, apologies for not posting recently......you see I need my parents help and they have been procrastinating!

After months of tummy time practice, I can now hold up my big ole melon, and be happy about it, nice!

Here's me trying to decide whether to lift up my head or eat my fingers, usually the fingers win.

Here's me decked out in my boating attire.  Being only 3 months old I can't wear sunscreen so I have to wear pjs instead of some sweet board shorts.  This life jacket is not too kiddo friendly, does it look comfy to you?  you'd think the coast guard could make one that is fun for me to wear and will save me from drowning.

I should have some good posts in the next few weeks, Holly and Eric are visiting this week, then Grammy & Grandpa Kinninger, Auntie Tricia and Uncle Shane, and the Grandma and Grandpa Hughes.  My parents hope the popularity doesn't go to my head.   As if.
Peace out, Baby Jake
